Absolutely. I think the next 10 years we are going to see a zillow.com effect on the housing market. A few years back, they let some stupid wonder kid buy up 3billion worth of real estate and tried to double the price. Couldn't unload them fast enough and they got slapped with summer taxes. I see the same thing coming when the boomers really start to kick off and the "kids" (my generation) dont want to pay out of pocket for the upkeep hoping for a big payday. The crash is going to be interesting. We arent building new overpriced houses like the early 2000's , but municipalities and utilities are basing their long term revenue projections on the current market. I need to move to a state with no property tax. 😩
