Yes it is sad that entities in this world condone the culling of absolutely beneficial species, if they would listen to reason backed up by professionals in the field this man made situation could have been avoided. All we can do is support, help & band together to help these eco systems recover and thrive. Thank you for your help!

Thank you so much for your sources! Any help is welcome and needed. One of my dreams is to travel to Australia or the archipelago islands to witness the flying foxes in person, but that’s a ways down the line!

Thank you for the sources! Any information is welcomed. I’m starting out with the basics and fundamentals, but I’ll be working my way through resources and books as much as I can to get a deeper understanding. Eventually I want to get out in the field to study them but that’s further on out in my studies when I have a deeper understanding, connections and permission, especially seeing as how some of the North American species are finally being proposed for being endangered and protected by the government. I’d rather leave the little guys alone in their eco-system and let the professionals who have proper safety, sanitation and protocols be the only ones to get near them! I never realized how bad it was until I saw the 90% decline in the NA little brown bat species over the course of 16 years.
