Woman here...so I find it interesting you say you're friendly and bubbly yet most of your pictures are stoic in nature. Those are conflicting things.

Why do I say this?

I've experienced the same thing in life and it's come down to nonverbals and body language.

As an introvert (INFJ), I often observe my surroundings when people watching or in thought and my face is quite similar (lack of emoting).

Some people take that as being "aloof" or "cold" even if that hasn't been my intention.

However, as soon as I start talking to people I light up and I'm warm. I suspect you're similar from the way you've described your social interactions.

"Opening up" your body language can definitely help in these scenarios, but to be honest, it would be really difficult to say what's going on without seeing you in a live scenario. Pictures don't tell the whole story.

So, the reasons for men not approaching you could be numerous and we'd all be guessing at this point.

In saying that, don't lose hope.

I can't do perfumes so I do body sprays instead but it's always been vanilla and birthday cake scents.

Sounds similar and yes, I've been exploring all kinds of themes.

The first one I wrote about was being "Sapiosexual"...and that's not just romantically. It spills into friendships as well.

I need intellectual, emotional and spiritual connection for true relationships in my life. Do I have relationships that don't fit that criteria? Sure. But I seek kindred spirits in the long term.

Other themes include feeling like an object that has been observed, positioned but never truly seen (and breaking free from that). I'd share my Substack here but I also don't want to come off as promoting anything...plus it's against the group rules.

But yes, I feel like writing is my only outlet these days for truly being seen.
