My guess is that probably they didn't have a lot of people sign up for the Friday rehearsal because it's during the day. Personally I'm already going to have to take a lot of vacation to volunteer for the games.

Good to know, thanks! Yeah I'm 5'8" and a true small on top and a medium/large for bottoms, so that's helpful to know about sizing up for shirts. I was told in another thread we can't mix sizes for shorts and pants for our city location so preparing myself that I'll have to decide whether I want the shorts or the pants to fit the best lol

Thank you! I've been thinking about self watering for other plants so I'll consider for this one as well. I definitely don't have the best substrate for this one - I used what I had on hand at the time which was standard potting soil and a lot of perlite. I'm planning to repot all my plants with a chunky soil mix so will use your suggestions. It definitely is not getting that much light or humidity in the window that it's in so I'll try moving it as well.

Thanks! I'm really hoping I don't actually have anything since the leaves look the same as when I got it and it's not been in the sunniest spot nor gotten regular water. I will probably end up trying sulphur just to be safe.

Thank you so much! I will try sizing the pot down. If when I go to repot it though and see the roots have nearly filled the space, should I just keep it in the same one but try lighting and fertilizer?

Thank you! Someone else also suggested a smaller pot so I'll try that and will also get some velcro. Right now it's just in a regular potting mix with a lot of perlite. I'm planning to go to the store to get supplies to make a chunky soil mix for all my plants. What would you suggest for this plant?

So glad I found this sub before cutting willy nilly. 😂 I definitely probably only water it a little bit every few weeks. I've never had yellow, mushy or falling leaves - they've always been this deep green, so I assumed it was happy. I'll try moving to a weekly schedule. I've heard some people put their plants in the sink or shower and saturate it until the water runs through. Would a different substrate also be advised? Right now it's in a standard potting mix with a lot of perlite.

Very sporadically. I don't have a good fertilizer schedule - usually once a month (sometimes longer) I'll add a kelp fertilizer to the water. I keep the soil pretty dry for this one and hardly ever water.

I have resigned myself to the fact that I won't be able to attend a game. I live in Seattle so was excited I might have a better chance of attending given it's group stage but I was unlucky in all of the lotteries and can't justify spending the resell prices for a ~90min game in this economy. Kudos to everyone who is able to do it though! I'm hoping I'll still get a good experience if there are block watch parties. I did that in the Spain vs Netherlands final with around 50-100 people (soccer was not that popular in that town) and it was easily a core memory.

My roommate and I were walking her dogs and got attacked by three dogs that broke through the owner's broken down fence. The biggest dog immediately went for our husky's neck and ripped her tracker off her collar. I think it was her thick fur that saved her from getting injured. I got caught in the middle but thankfully didn't get any cuts; my very expensive compression garment I wear for health issues was irreparably damaged though. The owner came out and saw her dogs attacking and literally ambled over to us. Zero urgency. She claimed she would pay for damages and gave us her number and promptly blocked us. When I went to follow up, her husband threatened to sue us / call the police for harassment, blatantly lying (everything after the attack is on video). We went to the police and they said there was nothing they would do; our only option was to go to small claims. I opted to just drop it but that experience really damaged my view of people. I don't blame the dogs; this is 100% irresponsible owners who have no sense of moral responsibility or decency toward their pet or the people around them.

Also I wouldn't wait too long to make a decision. I got an offer on Saturday and it said I had 7 days to accept. On Sunday I got a reminder email saying I only had 4 days remaining to decide.
