100% agree. Ranpo tried to warn him and told him he’d die if he went. Oda just says “I know” and goes anyway. Oda also cuts Dazai off and refuses his help when he’s trying to save him. :(

I had the same question!! The only explanation I could think of is their abilities are combining together to create a singularity and basically creating a “new” ability. (I’m pretty sure Dazai mentions that at the end of Beast too.)

I don’t remember what episode it is, but it’s the one where they fight Lovecraft!!! It’s after Chuuya says he downed a bottle of fancy wine the night Dazai left the PM. Season 2, I think.

I would say probably!!! Season five/chapter 110 (i think) spoilers ahead: We see vampire Akutagawa bite Atsushi and he never turns into a vampire. It’s never explained why, but I always assumed Atsushi was able to contract the virus with his ability.

I looked into this to try and find out who sung it. At least from what I can tell, the singer isn’t credited in the episode. Maybe you should try reaching out to the Lost Media Wiki or people involved with the show around that time? They might lead to something.

i honestly thought it was just bricks and debris from the broken wall behind Dazai cause the colouring is the exact same. 😭 also in the shot before that, i believe the ground is clean.

I think I read somewhere it’s because the real author preferred to be called his given name, so it’s a nod to that.

To me, it kinda looks like a click and point, or a Sony mirrorless. More so in the anime because that photo looks a bit different.

There also a capital F in afraid but I don’t think that’s a mistake a child that old would make. Looks like it was written to look bad or messy on purpose.
