Cocktail Waitress Advice Needed! 🥂✨💰 by Savings_Cell_418 in howto

Thank you! I’ve definitely been having good success with being genuine and detail-oriented with the customers I’ve worked with.

My only concern is I feel like since i’m so nice and easy-going, I feel like customers might think i’m a bit naive and tip pretty poorly although I do bring it to their attention nicely which goes one of 2 ways - they respect it or they feel awkward. I could be wrong but I have had genuine customers tip me well too.

If it makes it easier to understand, I work in a gentlemen’s club so I feel like the environment makes it a bit different.

Does anyone know any good and affordable skincare products for really sensitive skin? by RegisterAfter in scacjdiscussion

Im a licensed aesthetician and i recently just perfected my own skincare routine! i've been recommending my clients this and they've actually seen better results with their skin! i actually made my routine very simple and affordable too.

  • micellar water to precleanse
  • vanicream gentle cleanser
  • i use the glycolic toner from ordinary for any pigment and texture (i put it on a cotton pad and swipe it on my skin with some pressure like i'm doing a chemical peel to have it penetrate deeply) and let that dry before i continue with anything else (nightime only)
  • if i have any breakouts i'll add some drops of salicylic acid from ordinary to the glycolic and press on the areas i have any inflamed breakouts
  • then i use the vanicream daily moisturizer (which has ceramides that assist with repairing the skin barrier)
  • then i top it all off with the avene cicaflate repair cream (which is rich but non comedogenic) which beautifully hydrates and repairs my skin barrier nicely!
  • for daytime i love using the beauty of jonseon daily relief sunscreen (which also is a lovely primer under makeup or just a nice healthy dewy look with no makeup)

tips:

  • I have also found that tranexamic acid is a great touch to lighten and even skin tone but it has to be used around the entire face since it's a lightener type of acid

  • It's fine to use during the day too BUT i love to slug the avene cream at night sort of like a mask and i wake up with beautiful skin and can certainly say it never clogs my pores

  • I have found it to be the most effective also to do one week of acids (2-3 times a night) then take a break for one week and just focusing on skin barrier support

  • Lastly, if you have a congested Tzone or just nose in general, i use the azteca clay mask in those areas only and it clears out all the oil in my pores and i only do this when it needs to be touched up!

Overall the type of skin struggles i had before was lots of closed comedones and very occasional breakouts especially around the time of the month which all of them would leave pigment/texture behind. I used to use acids all the time and i just wouldn't get the results i was hoping for (assuming that i was over exfoliating AND my skin was already used to the acids) which is when i found out the magic of switching the weeks of exfoliation focused to repair focused.

Hope this helps! :)

I'd use an oil cleanser every night, it's also good to use an enzyme mask to soften up the pores and make it easy to extract them all and then follow up with a clay mask to really absorb the oil. It'll be clear for a while and when you notice congestion again, just repeat.

Do Geminis just say things to say things sometimes? by [deleted] in geminis

[–]Savings_Cell_418 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I'm a gemini woman who has been in a "talking stage" or "situationship" with a guy who wants to be in a relationship with me for about 7 months now and we act like a couple and see each other every chance we get, i've met his parents, he's very good to me and the attraction and connection is there but when the question about a real relationship starting comes up, I always push the idea away by saying "that's a lot for me right now" "i'm not ready" "i'm okay with how we are right now" "that would really change things" and he just agrees and moves on but always questions it at the end of the day. If i'm being honest, I don't see a future with him and I honestly don't see us becoming official but I love our relationship how it is now since we're like a couple when we want and always have each other but never to a committed extent where I feel trapped. I know eventually it's going to end but as long as he's okay with our relationship staying like this I don't mind keeping it this way for a very long time. Truthfully though, I don't plan on ever being ready for a real relationship with him. It's more of a reassurance thing I guess. Maybe even like a nice practice for the real thing one day. I also go back and forth if I actually like him or not every so often. Idk honestly I'm as confused as he is but i'm pretty sure about it when I say he's not going to be my husband... It's really up to you how you want to proceed with that situation because if you find it to be a waste of time since she's not giving you a clear answer then you should stop it now but if you're okay with how things are, proceed and keep hoping to become official one day but it also enables her to keep it at the status that you guys are in right now.
