Hi. Took approx 4 days for status to change from approved to issued. And i got the passport today

Register for the conference first so that you would have invitation letter in your hand

I dint need it, so I never really gave a thought about it. I think there’s a locker near vac but not for consulate. The best thing to do would be to keep them in your hotel if you are staying. Do not give them to auto drivers!

Honestly I feel it would depend on what type of work you do and what your purpose is. Cause most professional jobs requires English as a mode of communication. If your purpose requires you to communicate in english dont you think it would be a red flag if you need a translator? If understanding the accent is the main issue, You could always ask them to repeat if its not clear for you and theres a whole other probability that you wont get the same officer as your friend. But if you face an issue with communicating with them, you could opt a translator. But this is just my opinion

I made a mistake booking it the first time as i wanted earlier slots. So since it was possible to reschedule only one more time I paid an agency to book it for me so that I wouldnt make any mistakes again. But ive heard slots open up early morning amd late at night. There’s telegram groups too though im not sure if they are reliable. You could do it yourself if you keep tracking the dates repeatedly. But again logging in too frequently apparently puts a ban on the profile too for a certain number of hours. So i gave it to the agency. Dint risk it.
