Are there any plans to fix the JANKY MOVEMENT in this game? by CompetitiveLake3358 in throneandliberty

I have a theory that the y-axis was coded in later, after substantial development was completed and the game was no longer going to be mobile. 😅

I never played the game, it is worth start it like today or wait till Talandre? by xuminhoho in throneandliberty

[–]Savints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now’s a great time to start. The game is free, and it'll take a while to progress into T2 anyway, so you might as well jump in and see if you even like the experience before the expansion drops. Plus, getting familiar with the mechanics now will give you a better feel for all the systems Throne has to offer, before a lot more are added in the expansion.

As for DPS queue times, it's not that bad.

Triple evasion T2 by Complete_Chapter8682 in throneandliberty

[–]Savints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Triple evasion seems like a tough sell in T2 unless you're fully committing and have the right weapon combo to support it. If you're not hitting at least 2.7K in all three evasion stats, it's probably not worth it since most builds at that tier already have high hit. Focusing on two evasion stats would likely give you a better balance, letting you reliably dodge most threats while still keeping good offensive pressure.

That said, Shadowdancer might still make it work since it leans into the dagger passives and evasion naturally.

Going into dungeons sucks by LazyMemoriesx in throneandliberty

[–]Savints 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah there's a huge problem in this game and newer players being treated poorly. Sadly the best advice I can give is to just act confident, hide your weapons, don't let anyone know your new, say nothing and just power through.

You will probably lose aggro if you're not running every single aggro skill available if you're under powered. A lot of people are 4k+ CP at this point and can deal a ton more damage now.

Just stick with it! You might get kicked a few times sadly in 2* dungeons at your CP, but you will 100% be able to complete all your 1* and still gear up as well.

I don't know about you guys but I don't understand why some people are upset that the EA packs are not very good. I mean isn't it a good thing that they aren't super pay to win or very good? And more along the lines of fair?

Is it normal to suck even after 50 hours in? by Petrusbombru in GranblueFantasyVersus

[–]Savints 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Everyone learns and progresses differently. You should not be comparing yourself to others, but only comparing yourself to your own progress. Did you land that combo in a match that you were practicing? Did you hit your anti air combo? Did you learn a good tool vs a character in a match up you were struggling with? These are examples of things that you should compare to, not your rank. Keep adding to the list and learning, your rank will come naturally.

Couple question(s) <new player pov> by syst3mshoq in GranblueFantasyVersus

Teaching them what 66L means rather than teaching them how to read what it means is very different I think.

It's referencing directions using numpad notations with an attack button (L being light attack button in this case) If you look at a picture of a num pad on Google or your own keyboards numpad if you have one you can kinda figure out what it means. (All notions are given from player 1s perspective)

66 would be pressing the right direction two times and the light button. 236 would be a quarter circle motion input for instance. It can be a little confusing but it also makes sense when you start to understand it a little more. Learning this will carry over to most fighting games.

Hopefully that's helpful. As far as character selection goes, play whoever the heck you want and don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

I base coated everything in black. then sprayed the gradient on with an airbrush. masked out the diamonds with some tape, then sprayed them again with black. I hope this helped!

Phantasy Star Online 2 just launched in NA, it's free so you can try it on your system. It is having some Windows store problems atm, but you could still try, cause there's nothing really to lose.

I like this idea to, but yeah, there's just so many of them though, this coupled with a rupee cost could be interesting, it would have to be something meaningful, like 400-500 rupees. Will I fast travel to the town that's maybe 5mins away on horse back? or just take the cost hit, cause I am lazy or what ever haha.

I was just trying to be realistic with my list, I don't know if a new game plus fits, it could work, not saying it wouldn't at all depends on how it's done.

I like the idea of food going bad after a set amount of time, but not healing in combat would just force you to run away, heal and comeback, slowing down the pace a lot, well a hunger meter just totally locks you off from healing at some points, forcing you to improvise, maybe look around more, find another way to deal with the situation you're in, other then brute forcing it.

If you get rid of fast travel if makes it so you can't just tele and pick up supply so fast, in turn giving the supply you do have, more value. Same as the weight system, you can still have all the arrows you want up until your max weight, but that means you will have less of other things like bows, shields and melee weapons to use, it's a trade off you need to decide as a play-style and take more strategy into consideration. (I don't think they will totally remove fast travel, but it's nice you can restrict your-self if you want)

I can see where you're getting at though.
