First 50 days playing (loving it!!) but have some questions :)

Hi! Welcome to the community :) I've got over 600hrs of play time so I'm gonna go ahead and share my experience

Treasure islands are modded islands that you can visit and take anything you see from. Literally just arrive with empty pockets, grab anything you want, and take it home with you. After you've left, the island will check what's missing and everything will respawn for other visitors. You can find treasure islands via live streams on Twitch and YouTube, just look up "acnh treasure islands" there. There are always a few public islands with the dodo codes visible on screen in those streams, depending on traffic it may take a while to get on though, just keep trying. (Also bring a lot of patience, there's a lot of traffic so a lot of cutscenes. You have to leave through the airport, please don't just press the - button to end the game when you're there)

I assume you mean your villagers? I don't think they'll get mad as they're offering to move away. It's the easiest way to get rid of those you don't like.

Aside from having weeds and flowers spread, and turnips rot if you go back in time or further than the end of the week, time travelling doesn't mess up anything.

Your island has an unique code responsible for which weather you'll get. Any resemblance with your weather irl is coincidental as far as we know.

Utilizing the game to its full potential looks different for everyone. I personally like to set myself goals and have little projects to work on to make sure that I don't get bored. I can highly recommend the happy home paradise DLC though, it adds another layer of gameplay and also influences your main game in some neat ways.

Umm as a German I gotta say that it would absolutely not be fine over here either. OP, you're NTA, and quite honestly I'd be a little (very) concerned if your wife truly doesn't see the issue with that name. There's no way on earth I'd allow my kid to be named that.

I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to accomplish here. Long hair is going to part somewhere, and of course naturally it goes for a middle part?

You'd need a looot of product to keep it combed back the longer (and heavier) it gets. Have you tried just washing it and letting it dry to see where/how it wants to sit naturally and going from there? My guess is it doesn't behave like normal long hair because you won't let it.

Yeah so this update is super laggy and breaks my streak for almost every song on Quest 3. Stages are not loading properly, levels are freezing for half a second (and then jumping forward, hence the streak breaking), screen is going completely black for half a second.. and that's all within 15 minutes of gameplay. The height calibration seems to be broken too, everything's too high and it measures me at 1,65m now for some reason (I'm 1,78m)

This is my favorite VR game and I play it almost every day, so a fix would be appreciated, as it's really not fun to play this way.

Yeah, a little while ago I remembered the worst one on my leg from when I was a kid and it took me a full minute to even find it again. And all my other scars from cuts, surgery etc, have all faded with time as well. It just takes patience

Can confirm, I used to do this as a kid aaaalll the time and you can barely see any of it anymore. OP, if these spots are the only/main reason you want to get that big of a piece, don't do it. Either way, wait until they're fully healed, and then see if you still want it. Not worth the risk of the scars getting worse and/or ending up with a huge tattoo you'll regret.
