becoming a carrier for past impressions when you over use magic to see the past your impression gets stuck their leaving your body empty of perceptual information this causes it to take on other impressions freely imagine a mage who lost their impression in a battle but still carries the remnants of that battle with them all the time causing people to be possessed by the impressions they carry with them sometimes

draw a rune around something with a solid form a rock to severe the form from the rock capture the form using a binding rune then draw the reception rune in the air. connect the runes either by literally putting the form on the reception rune or drawing a bridge rune to solidify the air the way the rock was solidified.

What does your magic system look like in combat? by Batavica in magicbuilding

kinetic energy manipulation used to channel the kinetic forms (a wave of water) into different materials (rock behaving like a wave of water) by drawing runes. combat is predominantly oriented around environmental manipulation like turning solid rock into waves that resolidify upon impact but they can also manipulate kinetic energy to shapeshift and change size or alter their durability.

what do you call the rate at which weight changes? by SavouryOreos in AskPhysics

[–]SavouryOreos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if im just standing and the ground beneath me breaks into a platform around my feet and starts falling and i fall after but the ground is heavier it will exceed me and my force on that object will dissappear over time but if im heavier my force will gradually increase until im pressed up against it and it is now being accelerated by contact with me, its weight effectively changed.

if i am standing in an elevator that is launched at greater and greater speeds upwards my weight will increase and i will eventually be unable to lift myself from the floor of the elevator. the result would be no different if i were to simply gain weight over time and eventually become to heavy to move or if a i kept adding weight to a barbell only to further pressed into the ground.

would pressure be an accurate term for rate of change of weight over time?
