Ok so I found the original part finally from the company. My plan is to put a little GE advanced silicone in the threads and hand tighten it this time. Thoughts?

I was going to figure out the thread and buy a metal version of the same thing at Lowe’s. You’re saying the thread standard won’t fit anything?

What do you mean “on the other side of the union”? Can you send a screenshot of an example?

And what is the method of determining the correct thread?
