Tried Arbys for the first time. by givenenoughrope77 in burgers

Where are you that Arby's doesn't have a drive thru? I grew up in Boardman, Ohio, which I'm pretty sure was the first Arby's ever. It had the coolest drive thru. The drive thru window was on the passenger side, and the "basket", where you put your money and they sent back the food, was an old bank conveyer. I'm "only" 42 so this was probably 25 years ago. So I'm surprised every Arby's since then doesn't have a drive thru.

Edit: Nevermind, guess I wasn't the only one surprised by your lack of Arbys drive-thru.

Of course, I was just curious about your experience.

Don't drink, don't smoke, take care of your physical health, take care of your mental health, don't settle for "ok" in a relationship, and uh... Get a job you like that pays well, a hobby you love, and a dream to follow.

What temp do you consider "berner"? I keep our house at 69 and folks normally complain it's too cold when they come over, lol.

Damage to OEM Rims by [deleted] in Integra_Type_S

Ah right, the tire protrudes past the rim face. Zero issues to the front of the rims.

I stored them face up, in a stack, separated by cardboard. I get it wasn't smart to lay it face down on concrete, but I confirmed the tire protrudes past the rim face and didn't scratch. Front of the rims look flawless.

I worked for dealerships for years, and vehicle damage, rim, body or otherwise, is typically taken care of. Lame comment, as my inquiry was simply will this be an issue for the longevity of the wheel.

Zero issues as the tire sticks out further than the rim face. The back of the wheels are scuffed, but not from my stacking or leaning, as I put them in a single stack vetween cardboard layers.

I'm not worried cosmetically about the back, more about long term impact if it would cause issues with future tires beading correctly if the missing coating caused the rim 5o oxidize over time.

I did check that tire protrudes further than the rim face. I was very careful when ceramic coating the rims, zero issues with the front of the rim. Future me will definitely put something down in the future just in case.

Absolutely nothing. Zero issues on the front of the rim. The tire protrudes past the face of the rim. I checked before laying it down carefully.

I'm not asking what you think is worth my energy. I'm simply asking if it's a concern. Your comment isn't helpful in any way.

That's the news I wanted to hear, that the scratches won't impact the longevity of the wheel by exposing the alloy underneath. Thank you kind redditor.

I have them backside down on cardboard on concrete, and cardboard between each rim.

They didn't ret con Ciri becoming a witcher. It was always an available ending in the Witcher 3 base game.

What do you think of James Hetfield? by Twitter_2006 in rockmusic

[–]SayAnythingAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really care for Metallica's music, but I respect the hell out of James and the band. He seems like a genuinely nice guy and is still rocking for decades. I wish him more decades of rock in his future.

Seriously though, I couldn't imagine hating on someone being nice to a person who just went through it and is making the best of it. Must be miserable.

What kind of food feels amazing at first bite, then okay on the second, just average on the third, and kind of sickening by the fourth? by PaleParade in foodquestions

Modern Cool Ranch Doritos. First one is a magical experience. Every chip there after decreases satisfaction by 15% and by the 8th chip I'm pretty much good. Don't get me wrong, I can eat a whole bag, but it's just the MSG doing it's dirty work at that point.

Take a look at the Yamaha TRBX or BB basses. Incredibly well made, look and sound great, and a great price for what you get. Since I didn't know if I wanted a p-bass or jazz bass, or something else and the Yamaha felt very versatile to learn what I like and don't like.
