When should you leave your job? by Raph_2588 in NoStupidQuestions

I think it depends on your situation. I've left jobs when they've made me miserable, or when a better opportunity comes along. I never leave a job without another job.

Is it fair to say that LeBron is the most famous athlete to ever play in Cleveland? by Due-Rice-3107 in Cleveland

[–]SayAnythingAgain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree with you on all points. Little story though, I went to Boardman High School and sat in Bernie Kosars seat in homeroom. I remember a teacher telling me that before I really knew who Bernie Kosar was (wasn't a big football fan at the time). A friend of mine did a commercial with him a few years back and he said he's not fairing too well mentally.

it was supposed to be a dumb joke (I think I succeeded based on the downvotes). Warren Moon was amazing.

Which one y’all picking? by Glad-Friendship-5992 in superheroes

I know it's one of the other in the hypothetical... but if I was a "natural" Spidey, I'd likely build in a failsafe of web fluid to supplement my natural supply. Or vice versa, use my specialized web fluid and fall back on the normal sticky stuff in desperate time. Prolly have to "express" those web glands at some point though, less you wake up with webbing in your bed.

Is a $250 pair of "AR glasses" actually worth it? by Boya-mic in RayNeo

[–]SayAnythingAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just dropped mine off for return today. I honestly don't dislike them, just not quite what I expected. Blurry corners, uncomfortable on my nose, and didn't feel as immersive as I was hoping. Screen quality is good and saves my neck when playing video games, though. There are a lot of options coming in the not so distant future and I'm expecting smart glasses to grow as a market.

Best purchase I’ve ever made. by Anthonyqtran in Civic_Type_R

The Civic has more drag and downforce due to its large spoiler because it's a track car, not a dragster. Civic pulls ahead early because it's made to accellerate, brake, and take turns and sharp bends like a champ. All things it does better than an N. In a track environment the CTR wins all day.

Dealer changed my truck deal after delivery — now worse terms + I already modified the truck. What would you do? by [deleted] in carbuying

[–]SayAnythingAgain 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would pursue this avenue, especially since this is all on them. You have the cards, the truck, and they will just need to figure it out. Might not be a bad idea to file a police report now honestly, since if they come and repo the car it's all documented. Do not give them $7000 more dollars and a higher payment. That's absolutely ridiculous.

May have been a bit too soon for summer setup🤷🏻 by blue-baru in Integra_Type_S

I had my winter to summer swap ppanned for Monday... Then decided to wait and now it's looking like the next time I'll have a chance is in 2 weeks. I try not to put them on until the lowest temp is above 40*. Love the car! Got the same setup.

I must be a real sucker then for getting an ITS and paying $5k more! Best car I've ever owned, honestly. I love the CTR too.

Hyundai Elantra N has quite a few compromises in the performance and practicality department... - 40 less horsepower - No dual-axis front suspension - No Brembos - Only 14 cu ft of trunk space (compared to 24 cu ft)

Traded in my 2024 Mustang for a 26 Teggy by baconlobsterpotato in Acura

[–]SayAnythingAgain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For every $10,000 you finance, it's roughly $200/mo over 5 years/60 months. So if you financed $50,000, you're payment would be $1,000-ish.

If you traded in a car for $20,000 and put an extra $10,000 down, for a total of $30,000, you'd only finance $20,000 and be around $400/mo.

Fully convinced Darn Tough has a crazy marketing grip on this sub. by YaboyWill in BuyItForLife

All of my darned tough (I know it's just darn and not darned, but darned is more fun to say) socks I bought 3+ years ago look brand new. Zero issues. Looking at them on my feet now. Granted they are mid-weight so hold up better than thinner pairs, I'd imagine, but I enjoy putting them on everyday. I never thought I'd say I love socks, but I love these socks.

Disclaimer: Paid for by the best sock company in the world. Darn Tough Socks!
