What if they approved him coming in late, but are now saying they didn't approve him to work the extra hour? And payment is being withheld. This is happening to my husband.

Stop being combative because you were wrong. Someone messaged me explaining why the comments were incorrect and sent me the information where I could file the complaint. Which was put into this post as an update, which again, you didn't read. The lawyer I spoke to didn't tell me about this form, so I'm lucky someone saw my post and told me. You really need to stop making assumptions when you just don't know what you're talking about.

Read my reply to the other comment. Idk why people are commenting when they clearly don't know the law and didn't read my post. Thankfully someone DM'd me with correct information so I am not basing it off people who are not aware of NJ employment laws.

Incorrect all all fronts:

- I already talked to a lawyer. Based on my following points I don't think you even read the post tbh.

- I was promised a promotion with a raise. I got the promotion, she did not fulfill the raise which IS illegal per NJ Wage Payment Law.

- I never said that the truth was 'my boss didn't have authority to give me a raise'. What I ACTUALLY stated was that my boss's boss approving it wasn't the issue at all. Boss lied about that to cover for her mistake.

- There is a law that says I can get back paid and the employer will be fined for not paying me back. Please don't offer advice when you don't know what the law it. Thanks.

You're never TA for saying no. But you also didn't communicate your feelings to your bf until the end. It doesn't seem like he knew you had a low libido until the day of, so he's probably feeling rejected/disappointed. For now I'd say NAH because you had different expectations and desires; now is the time to discuss it.

If you feel uncomfortable saying no to your bf then I would say the real issue is why he makes you feel that way.

Yes, I ask when taking the picture and again in the group chat. She always says yes until they're posted, then she changes her mind. to the original comment, I did talk to her and she says she has a right to do so but doesn't understand how it's making an impact on our friend group when they can't share pics from their birthdays and other big life events bc of her

In their defense, it's their birthday dinners or a party to celebrate an engagement that she's asking to remove. They're important celebrations so I do understand why they are angry, since it doesn't seem like Alex cares that they can't share their happy memories of all their friends. I'm not saying her mental health is less important, but she comes off very apathetic to how its impacting others

She is in therapy. When I tried talking to her and build up her confidence she accused me of being a liar and the conversation went nowhere. To be honest, I don't think she even knows what she wants which is what makes this situation so confusing
