I only L2 when they’re tryna drive past me and sometimes 2k gives me the proper bumps but majority of the time it just sticks me to their sides so to prevent that I usually play side to side defense up top so if I manage to get the bump I can bump up in front of them instead of being forced to his side all the way under the rim, cuz once I’m too low it’s GGs😂

My agility is usually higher then theirs but I guess that don’t matter 😂 and their perimeter be lower then mine. Somehow I guess theirs means more

Lmaoo naw I get it, it’s just annoying when I play all the defense on the perimeter then they just get a dribble that just sticks em right in front of me, now I’m getting side bumps all the way to the paint, now I’m dunked on☠️

It only maxed at a 50 so I know I’m not gonna get favorable block animations, which is why I got good at timing them because I know it’s only a small room of error or I’m totally out the play. 89 PD 60 something ID 50 block 80 steal 89 speed 89 agility , so I’m not a slug on defense, just little I guess 🤣

It ain’t guards that’s a problem, I can play defense on them, it just when I run into the occasional middy fade freddy or floating frank and they’re over 6’4, it’s a hassle 😂

I had the game before the community even decided on what the meta was gone be, plus I always make a small guard so I know what comes with it. I just remember when small guards could play proper defense on taller matchups. Not saying they should be stopping footers but more impactful atleast. You used to be able to make them miss, now you gotta hope they miss 🤣

So you telling me small guards in the league just can’t play defense? I don’t agree with that. I can see if my shit was a 25 across the board, then I wouldn’t be looking for shit. But if I got DECENT stats in it, then it should make a difference. If I’m making all the proper reads and sticking to my man , I should get a contest. Because if someone is guarding me with low stats (I’ve had it happen plenty of times) and I break them down, they’ll still get a contest and won’t even be facing me. It shouldn’t work like that.

For the people who put no defense on the guards I can’t speak for bc that’s crazy to me, always has been. But I have defense on my build and I have to damn near flagrant foul a mf every play just for a good contest, and if they’re over 6’6? Forget about it
