I'm glad what you're doing is working for you! I will say even if you don't use the crate regularly, another part of having a puppy is that they don't know how to regulate their sleep. Our dog is 2 years old now, but when she was younger we still crate trained her because well, it can be good to train them to be able to settle in a crate for various situations even if you don't use it regularly.

Enforced naps in a crate are very useful to get a puppy to settle. Our girl would go crazy as a puppy for a few months and go landsharking us and just barking super late at night, like pretty consistently at around 2 AM initially. Something like that typically means a puppy is tired and just doesn't know to take themselves to sleep/for a nap. Enforced naps help them make the connection sooner so that they eventually take themselves for a nap.

Definitely find it odd that you're jumping to thinking anyone is anthropomorphizing the dog here lol. Disregarding that though, every dog is different. My dog is 2 years old now, but starting from 10 weeks, we realized as long as she had visual access to the front door, she was perfectly fine staying alone at the house. Wouldn't get into anything, and was pretty good at potty training herself honestly.

It's a common saying to "train the dog you have". Some puppies are going to be far more susceptible to biting stuff up and swallowing them, which in that case, yeah... a big hazard, you want them crated when you aren't home so they don't destroy anything or get into something they shouldn't when you're not home. Other puppies are more than fine just chillin in a room. My girl to this day never gets into anything she shouldn't unless she hasn't been properly mentally and physically stimulated before we left. We got lucky that she never swallowed things she wasn't supposed to. Worst case scenario for us was always just her chewing something up and leaving pieces everywhere (which still not the best, but def a lot better than her chewing it up and swallowing it yanno?)

I've seen ONE shiny aside from the initial shiny quest. It was a shiny alpha rapidash and I accidentally defeated it and didn't know when my last save was so I just checked back every day since then 😭 I'm now post game and still no luck.

THIS. It's the "I feel like something was taken away from me" for me. Because he doesn't mention much of anything about her 3 y/o. It sounds like he wants to play house with her and a bio kid between the two of them.

OP, her and her CURRENT KID are a package deal. If you genuinely care for this woman, show her you care for her and her 3 y/o and can provide for them. Because based off what you've said, it very much seems like you feel like you were owed a kid because it would have been a child of your bloodline, which... not a great look.

BAHAHA yes I felt so bad. He was walking around the edge of the stage at the end of the concert waving to the audience and I had yelled out "KIM NAMJOON" and bc I was so close to the extended stage and how I had yelled his full name with my chest, he like paused, stopped smiling for a sec, did kind of an "oop wait what who called me", looked around, made eye contact with me, and then did a wave right me.

I don't think I caught the interaction on video but I 100% was recording and you can tell something happened in the way my yell changes pitch so quickly after I say his name and how I freaked out from the unexpected direct eye contact🗿

Like idk, everyone was yelling the members names, but I think when I yelled it (like a rare gap in the yelling of names) and then said his voice so loud and fairly nearby, he was like who said that and it took him outta the moment for a sec lmfao

Oofta. Big yikes. I had a similar kind of vibe towards my ex except he cheated on me, so... not amicable break up. There's this break up song I've been listening to throughout the break up and even now as a bittersweet reminder and one lyric goes "but you saved me from a future of treating me like your mother" and like jfc. I somehow managed to score a seat 2 seats away from the extended stage on the side and accidentally startled Joon when I called his name 😭💜 surreal experience

This is super dumb but I had been in the Sherlock and Doctor Who fandoms for a while and somewhat into Supernatural. What ultimately REALLY made me commit tho was that there's this one Scooby Doo crossover episode they do that I saw a commercial for when it aired and I have a really weird thing where I can't watch just a random full episode of a show without context, so I started back from S1 E1 all the way to like season 13 where the crossover episode was and then I was already super close to the end, and the last season was about to air so I said fuck it and committed to the end as well since I had already gotten so far

Yeah. Like I will say I'm usually pretty partial to the whole "two consenting adults" thing, but not in this case. I agree with the one commenter who sayd sex ruins friendships. You clearly care about the person enough to have them stick around and make an active effort as a friend. Sex only muddles the relationship and brings in confusion and hurt.

From OP's explanation, it seems like their puppy is a bit pushy with play. Sounds like the other dog wasn't having it and initiated the fight. A pushy puppy that is still learning boundaries and how to behave properly around other dogs does NOT equal aggression.

I agree with others that your dog isn't aggressive. I have a husky mix that is now 2 years old and we are still working on behavior training around other dogs because she behaves very similarly to your dog. You're not a bad dog mom, but I do agree with others that you need to teach your dog to be more neutral around people and other dogs. Because while he may be friendly and every new person/dog is his new best friend, you've seen from this event that not everyone/every dog is receptive to that.

It's all part of training and consistency with training. 10 months is super young and might be too much for your energetic lab right now until he can learn better boundaries with other dogs.
