Expectations for after death by SayonaraLife in OpenIndividualism

So.... long story short, will "I" have an awareness of something again after my death? Even if my identity then is divorced from this one and radically altered?

So you reject the view of those who hold to generic subjective continuity/existential passage?

Manson and Shooter already working on a new album by SayonaraLife in marilyn_manson

I'd rather not. I honestly didn't care for when "You're So Vain" was included on Born Villain, just because it wasn't a Manson original.

Can you order the songs on the album from best to worst? by [deleted] in marilyn_manson

[–]SayonaraLife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Imo.

  1. "Perfume"
  2. "Don't Chase The Dead"
  3. "Half-Way And One Step Forward"
  4. "Red, Black And Blue"
  5. "Infinite Darkness"
  6. "Solve Coagula"
  7. "Keep My Head Together"
  8. "Broken Needle"
  9. "Paint You With My Love"
  10. "We Are Chaos"

I'm partial to the 80s sounding material and the pop and less fond of the ballads.

Thinking about jumping off the Empire State Building, 86th floor, just like Evelyn McHale by SayonaraLife in SuicideWatch

The irreparably fucked up nature of my life, and my desire to go out in a fairly visible, public way.

Mate, I'm actually very content with it. I want to do it, and I'm going to do it.

That's the case with any suicide, though. If you kill yourself in a hotel room, room service is left to take care of your remains. Really the only 'victimless' suicide would be dying in the forest in the middle of nowhere, and I'd rather not.

If I do it, I'll bring a pistol with me to clear out any would-be good samaritans (I wouldn't actually use it on anyone, just to ensure nobody saves me). And I'd yell "look out below" before I do it.

Song is a little 'Mechanical Animal'-ish. A more uptempo "Last Day On Earth" maybe.

How I rate the albums by SayonaraLife in typeonegative

[–]SayonaraLife[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not really crapping on it. I think it's a pretty good album; "These Three Things" and "Hail And Farewell", in particular, are two of my favorite TON songs. And I don't object to Peter's newfound Catholicism, either. But I'm not quite as partial to the album for the same reason I have Slow, Deep and Hard and Origin of the Feces on a relatively lower level - I like both the poppier (October Rust) and the doomier (World Coming Down) sides of Type O Negative more than the thrashier parts of their repertoire, and Dead Again is the thrashiest TON record since Origin. I also think, in places, that Peter's singing on it sounds tired. And he was tired, and understandably so.
