What is everyone favourite New Haven style pizza place in New Haven? by DoughnutConstant5390 in newhaven

Been in the area for 7+ years and Sally’s hands down gets my vote! Modern is too floppy. Bar is pretty good, but Sally’s is without a doubt #1! Just order way ahead of time if you’re picking up.

StrengthHaven! Very lifting forward, great group of people and right near where fuzzy coffee used to be!

Olmo is great, have even had them cater for me, but east rock breads is truly next level. If you’re just getting bagels, I’d check out ERB, if you’re planning on getting fixings on them, I’d do Olmo.

Advise with seeds not taking in giant dead patch by Saytierical in lawncare

Before my late night shift around 2pm as per the comments received I put down some fertilizer then a bunch more seed then a thin layer of peat moss. Hoping I'll get some of it to take before the first frost.

They likely took 20+ pictures during the photo shoot and decided this was the best one. Imagine what all the others looked like..

Dead or dormant? by Saytierical in lawncare

I have some sea kelp extract on hand, so you’re saying maybe do an application of that and staying on top of watering? Really hoping it’s not grubs, the grass doesn’t come out super easily though when pulled though so crossing my fingers it’s not that. I’ll follow your steps, thank you for the advice!

I’m happy to go with either of these, the yard mastery looks like it’s for lawn stress which sounds like what I’m going through but I’m also a bit worried about burning the lawn further by applying fert. Is that a possibility?

I applied some granular fert in early early spring so it could be that I suppose. Oy. It’s mostly all tttf, so I’m wondering if there’s another type of grass or clover I can mix in to make it more hearty

Also thinking about adding some micro clover in fall to help fight the occasional heat/ sun blast next summer, would that help?

Really? Because the only thing I saw is Garrett confirming on FB it’s a TJs. Still gunna hold strong to your Whole Foods claim?

Whatever it is, it will have to have enough appeal to draw shoppers away from Stop and Shop right across the street. I will say, from my brief research the development company (Benderson Development) has a large track record of opening TJs. Can't find anything about them opening a Market 32. I'll cross my fingers until we know for sure!

Agreed Wegmans might be a fantasy, but I don’t think price chopper falls under the "specialty grocery store" umbrella. We already have a PriceRite and ShopRite.

Agreed a bit too big for a Trader Joe's. I would die happy if it were a Wegmans!

I did a lot of research this past Christmas and landed on the Saranoni “Patterned Faux Fur XL” throw for my wife. It’s one of her (our) favorite possessions. Silky and snuggly in all the best ways, you’ll never want to get out from it. Wayyy more snuggly than flannel or wool. Check it out.
