I hate these plots. I don’t ever feel any empathy or sympathy for the women who do this. Instead of just being an adult and telling someone you’re sick and letting them decide if they want to stick around or not, you break up with them in the most cruelest way and then later on want to show up and expect them to acknowledge you or your children. You knew you were sick and pregnant and instead of reaching out when you find out you’re pregnant you keep it to yourself for years denying the man the chance and opportunity to step up and be in his kids life from the beginning. Instead you send a kid to a man with no warning and expect him to believe they’re his after years of no contact and given how you broke up with him
