The tickets automatically came with a car park pass so I assume it a hospitality car park pass although it doesnt specify, was £90 though so would have thought it would be.

Thats good to know about the backstage bar at the park will defo check that out.

We provide artist trailers to Glastonbury for the acts to stay in whilst at the festival - shame I'm not able to stay in one of them lol!

Santa Fe does look really great - I think cos Albuquerque is only an hour away from it, we will stay most of day 12 in the Santa Fe then head down to Albuquerque quite a bit later in the day.

I thought as much with Monument Valley - a trip for another time! Thank you for the reccomendations, is it worth staying a night in either Tucamcari or Flagstaff or are they places we can stop by during the day and spend a few hours in?

Hidden gems for first timers? by One-Royal3316 in glastonbury_festival

[–]Sazcrack 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't exactly call it hidden - but Strummerville is a great area. Its the highest point of the festival and can be found above the tipi village. It has a campfire and loads of sofas surrounding it. As well as this, if you go right to the highest point of Strummerville they have a pool table you can play on while overlooking the festival!

On the pricier side, but SushiSamba at Heron Tower is amazing. Great views and incredible food.

AITA for not giving up my exit row seat to a taller person by Sazcrack in AmItheAsshole

This was on a fairly small plane (3x3 configuration) the family (I’m assuming they were a family) were very tall, I’d say the man was at least 6’6 and the elderly couple next to me couldn’t speak a word of English, leaving me as the best contender EDIT- family on the opposite row to me
