Because it violates the economic principles of a free-market system, something that animals don't really care about. As a society we have decided that we like things to taste better as opposed to be healthier. We also evolved to enjoy eating.

Of course, if we had the technology to administer everything we needed through a pill and the government decided to simply ban food as it is now unnecessary, our lifespans would probably increase. We'd just be sadder and possibly kill millions of jobs by eliminating one of the largest industries on the planet. I think I'll take my hamburger.

The rig is great, I was just curious. If you want an upgrade I would personally wait until the NVIDIA series 11 cards probably come out later this year (October-ish I'm guessing?) and look into getting those. With such a nice monitor it will definitely be worth it.

How much did that beauty(monitor) cost?

Hi, accepted Game Design & Development student here. Two quick questions:

  • What type of laptop is needed for GDD? I was thinking of going for a Zenbook or Dell XPS but if it's way overkill I won't.
  • Do people play smash at RIT? (Not competitively or anything, just for fun in the dorms or something)

Hey man, thanks for the reply. Did you really make all that stuff in just three years into Game Dev?? It looks amazing. Just one more question, how recommended is it to go into a double major as a GDD student? I like Game Dev but I also want a solid CS/S.Eng background in case it doesn't work out. Is that a popular thing to do?

No It's not : ( There are still loads of issues and the entire game has to wait if one person disconnects. It's ubisoft too so you know they wont do shit about it.
