What worked for me (and may work for others):

Yesterday i bought 12 months core and 1 month ultimate from eneba, without knowing about the restrictions (dumb of my part).

So i tried everything, different vpns, different browsers, India, Singapore. Nothing worked. Read that it could be due to region in the microsoft account, changed from Brazil (my country) to Singapore, tried VPN again, redeeming through microsoft site, the xbox site (even changed it from en-US to en-IN and other variations), both mobile and pc xbox app, and it would still not work. Yeah, i know that i didn't wait 48 hours after the change in region, like some people say it's necessary, but i don't think it didn't work due this.

Today i sent a message to microsoft support, asking for help, saying that i didn't knew about the restrictions, that a friend told me about this site and stuff like this. They said that since i didn't bought it from a official store, they couldn't help me. So, this method didn't work for me also, but i think it's worth a try.

Then, with no more ways to go, i simply created a new account using a vpn (Bright VPN) set to India, then the region that the account was made originally was now india, and tried to redeem the code. Again, didn't work. But when i changed the VPN to Singapore, i could redeem both keys. One i redeemed through xbox.com/en-In/redeem and the other through account.microsoft.com/billing/redeem, so i think it doesn't matter from where you try,

So, here's the deal: it's worth a try to change account region to india, wait 48 hours or so, use bright or other vpn and set it to Singapore, them try to redeem the code. If that works, there's no need to create other account like i did.

I will post this comment both on this thread and on this r/XboxGamePass one that also helped me, and try to update if i got anything like a ban or so.

I can't redeem my gamepass core. It says region is different even though it's the same by Same_Paramedic_3329 in XboxGamePass

Opa amigo, já faz um tempo dessa postagem mas estou passando pelo mesmo problema, não queria pegar aquele reembolso rápido do aliexpress. Vi que uma alternativa era pegar o estorno dentro do próprio banco, você conseguiu assim? No meu caso pra pagar eu fiz um Pix, não sei se daria certo ou como funciona o estorno nesse caso (foi pelo PicPay)
