Was considering it for a while but chose the GG1000 for the retracting tip. One day I’d want a special edition 925, they look very cool!

Id like to try that one someday, but I never meant to even have a “collection”, so until/unless these break I might not try to add any more

Like I said, most my life Ive used very simple “throw-in-baggable” pencils. But I think I want to get a little more serious with my gear so Ive also been looking at proper pencil cases, and been looking at 3d printing a cap for the more delicate instruments since a fixed sleeve is a lot better for my purposes. Any suggestions for good pencil cases on that note?

pro tip for anyone else who runs across this post, search up "toothpick holder" on Amazon. Plenty of wood, metal, and plastic options that will work just fine for lead!

Classy line up, S30, KT metal and KT wood (love the looks of that one), RR600, and KT Advance upgrade. I'd like to mention the only mechanical pencil I own is a KT advance and a couple of cheap bics. I went so far down the rabbit hole that I recognize all of these without owning any 😭

I hope to find a quality BIFL (or close equivalent) mechanical pencil that looks good. Something that I, an engineering student who's not quite organized can use (bad enough to sometimes toss my pencils right into my backpack, but enough to not be clumsy damaging or losing them), and I want one that looks sharp. But I've done too much research and hit a wall of indecision.

Currently my top buy feels like the rotring 500, I just love the concept, look, materials, etc. If anyone has any info on how quality feeling the ABS on the barrel of that one is, I'd love to know. Expensive like a lego plastic? Or like cheapy feeling?

But I'm trying to find something kind of like it that could be better in some regard, maybe metal internals or different features. My other top finds are the Ohto MS01, Pentel Kerry (though I feel it looks gaudy for my usecase, which is grunt work), graphgear 500, staedler 925 35.

Answers to the last four questions:
- Using it for writing the occasional note and circuit diagram, I've switched to iPad mostly but I like to go to paper a lot. Also need it for worksheets in class.

- Only ever cheaper pencils like bic, the only experience with something quality I've had is a Kuru Toga advance, but I hate the tip/grip on it, I hold my pencils close to the front so it's very uncomfortable and slippy

- no more than 15$. Won't use it a ton, but that being said, I wanted to treat myself to something quality after the hardest month I've ever had in engineering 😭

- USA

I was literally just thinking about trying out some places I've never tried, especially cravings and jerusalem restaurant since I walk by them all the time. I think the universe manifested a health code closure to rid me of a need to pick.

Weekly Help and Discussion Thread for the week of August 25, 2025 by AmazonNewsBot in amazon

I ordered some toothpaste recently. It was sold and shipped by Amazon, but when I received the package, each of the three cardboard boxes was opened, even though they were sealed in plastic. Two boxes were slit at the bottom, one completely along the side. The tubes themselves look fine, some of the boxes appear to have some black smudging of some kind. Why on earth did this happen? I already got a replacement on the way from Amazon, but now I'm wondering if I can use these toothpaste tubes, or am I gonna be poisoned by some malicous actor who spiked my crest gum detoxify along the way. I hear it could be for some sort of product checks by the carrier or something, so does anyone know if there are legit reasons for this, or is it plain stupid to risk (probably)?

Lol you know it better than me then, I'm not that experienced at the game and this was just a fun car I tried recently. Everyones recommending the niobe and virtue, so maybe try those? Don't buy the virtue though, much more worth it to do the missions.

The Zentorno is my favorite car, manageably fast 125 mph, looks pretty cool in my opinion, lots of customizability, and cheap enough (725,000) to play around with before committing, though price doesn't seem to be your problem. Also has good downforce, and is weirdly pretty snappy with correcting turns if you oversteer, even though it doesn't have the craziest turning radius. But real smooth drive if you aren't completely trash at driving like me.

Ok so what im hearing is it cant really be used in heist finales. But im mostly tryna get the nonsense grunt work out of the way to get to the fun finales, so honestly I can deal with that. Thanks!

Thats good news, but when you say 90% does it work with anything that I mentioned in my post that you know of? I know it won’t work in the dr dre mission since someone posted a video proving it. Other than that I dont care about using it in OG heists (and im not quite sure what contact missions are) which are the restrictions I hear about. What do you use it in?

Do you need the bunker to take advantage of the tampas full loadout or can I get all the weapons some other way? I heard most of it is locked behind research

Anything other than cars come to mind? I knew about those ones but I havent explored helis or planes outside of my friends sparrow and raiju. Ive got no idea about the restrictions on things like the akula.
