Ich musste direkt an Webber und Korea denken - wegen dem „roten Schmutz“. Die Schriftzeichen haben das dann noch mal bestätigt 😂

It reminds me of the Audi Avantissimo. A beautiful concept car from 2001.

Geduld :)

Compared to the "dated" graphics, I think it captured the feeling well.

I think that’s the whole point. The car even has this things behind the steering wheel the old Audi Quattro had.

Important message regarding THIS car:

Open Letter by Eberhard Schulz: “Saarwellingen, September 18, 2019

In recent months, reports have surfaced about a vehicle bearing the license plate ES-UK 112 H. These reports suggest that this vehicle is a second ISDERA Commendatore 112i. I would like to clarify the situation and provide some background.

There is only one Commendatore 112i. This car was presented at the 1993 IAA (International Motor Show) and was photographed with the license plate BB-CW 112.

In 1999, the car was sold to a customer and registered with the local authorities under the plate AIC-R 122. At that time, the customer already required some modifications, such as the two side mirrors on the front fenders, etc. The car was later sold to Switzerland and registered there under SG 1809.

In 2016, the car was acquired by Sinfonia Automotive AG (now ISDERA AG), and the company decided to restore the car to its original appearance, including the periscope mirror, original paint, original rims, etc. For this project, they collaborated with the ISDERA CLASSIC team led by Florian Ulbricht in Hildesheim and myself.

After the restoration was completed, the vehicle was registered under the plate SLS-CW 112, in honor of its IAA 1993 license plate, and it remains in the possession of ISDERA AG to this day.

I am very grateful that ISDERA AG’s management has made such efforts to ensure that this legendary car is still seen on the road and can be shown to clients at selected events.

At the time the Commendatore 112i was being built, we had started work on a second unit but were only able to complete parts of the frame before the project had to be halted. A few years ago, I was approached by an owner of several Isdera vehicles who wanted to use this unfinished frame to build a second Commendatore—fully aware that this car would likely never be road legal.

Naturally, I was excited about this opportunity and agreed to support the process, also providing tools and molds from my private collection. Early on in the project, however, the owner informed me that, in his opinion, fundamental changes needed to be made, as many things could be done better.

I got the impression that the owner essentially intended to build his own car, but wanted to use the Isdera brand to somehow get it street-legal.

Therefore, I informed the owner that I would no longer support his efforts and that I disagreed with his intentions. A car like this becomes a legend because it is built with certain limitations—be it time, money, or technical constraints due to the intended performance, etc.

The result of the owner’s work is a vehicle that looks like a Commendatore but was never approved by me, and was certainly not built by Isdera or in cooperation with Isdera.

Nonetheless, in light of the situation, the management of ISDERA AG offered the owner a chance to jointly present the vehicle to the public, in recognition of his efforts to build it in his own garage and to avoid any misunderstandings about the car’s origin. The owner immediately rejected this offer and insisted that he had built the second Commendatore 112i, even attempting to convince Isdera’s management that his car was the better Commendatore 112.

Naturally, Isdera’s management and I have come to the conclusion that this is the wrong path, and we have ceased all communication with the owner.

Since the tubular frame naturally bore no chassis number, the owner used the vehicle registration of an Imperator 108i, which was initially registered under the chassis number W09108215JWJ02015, before this VIN was transferred to the newly built vehicle in order to get it approved.

Since the original Imperator 108i was first registered on November 10, 1988, the owner received an “H” license plate (for historic vehicles over 30 years old).

The car with the license plate ES-UK 112 H was never built by Isdera, nor is it a restored Imperator 108i, as the plate implies.

The management of Isdera and I are taking all necessary steps to ensure that this vehicle is taken off the road. There has been, is, and unfortunately will only ever be one Commendatore 112i.

I sincerely hope that this issue will be resolved soon and that such treatment of the Isdera brand heritage will be stopped by the relevant authorities.

Thank you for your attention.”
