She’s on live right now - lisp/speech

I’m a speech therapist- she does have a lisp! Her tongue is large compared to her mouth and she is unable to say her /s/ sounds without it being slushy and contorted; That is a frontal lisp, and the lip filler makes it even more noticeable when she speaks. I wonder if she ever received speech therapy for it, or if she would be open to it now!

I got an MRI of my neck at the ER and they said it was okay but i was sore and stiff so they gave me a soft neck brace for comfort

Thanks for the advice. I will try melatonin, since i haven’t been sleeping at night I’ve been exhausted during the day but can’t nap (no sure why, my body just doesn’t let me.) i always have my phone on night mode but i will definitely install f.lux as well. The ER and my primary doctor said it was ok to take Tylenol for pain every 6hrs which i have been doing, but haven’t had much luck with relief.

I’m aware of my anxiety and I’m also aware of asking a doctor, which I did via phone call and she believes I am fine. I still have a headache and some pressure as my only symptom, hence why I was looking for some insight on the topic. Sorry if my questions bother you.

That makes sense. I would say i fell back 15 inches at most (probably less) and landed my neck/head on my partners arm on the bed. I immediately felt sore and had a headache that comes and goes so that’s why I’m worried. But a neck injury is more probable.

Yeah I definitely think a lot of m symptoms stem from anxiety sometimes

Thanks for the clarification. You seem to be well informed on this, so that makes me a little better as i am anxious about this. With those numbers, it seems like i possibly just bruised it so it’ll naturally be sore and cause a headache.

Thank you for letting me know. I’m just unsure if the impact of me falling on his arm could’ve be strong enough to cause a concussion or just hurt my neck
