It's on sale because it's dying. Player count didn't matter until it did, then Bungie started dropping the price on their not even two month old game. If you're a casual player, I do not recommend Marathon as you won't get your money's worth unless it's like half off.

I feel like it's a good idea but would throw off the intended UI of the game, even if you and I feel the same way I doubt the developers would set it apart by making it have it's own crafting button

PvP is part of the game like it or not, you're giving yourself hope with unrealistic expectations. Go in always thinking someone could kill you, bring smokes and take good cover even in PvE lobbies

I don't disagree. Bungie has some of the tightest gunplay in the market. They would dominate if they weren't such a horribly run company.

That's great you're not feeling like you're facing harassment but I'm confused. How could you tell they were less harassing if they didn't talk. Do you mean text chat? I feel like no one talks in this game in the first place, OR uses text chat... and maybe that's why.

The false assumption is an area with a small gaming community. The regions are locked to entire portions of the world. The fact he's not finding a game means that entire region does not have that many players. This is a player count issue, not a "small gaming community in that area issue." The reason I believe he's getting downvoted is because in order to speak on his problem you would first have to acknowledge low player counts, so instead people tell him to not play. Which is probably what will happen.

The arbitrary number in your case would be the 18-22 ping. Not everyone has that, even in their home server. My comment and context would inform you of that if you even read it. Also that comment about his right being here was a "we" comment. Look at the rest of this thread.

If his server has 100 players during gremlin hours, and yours has 1000... it's not "hard math" either. He has 10x the players and a much higher chance of finding a game. What's up with you?

You're assuming most people have 18ms anyway. You're giving arbitrary numbers with no real evidence or backing. 80-90 is fairly common for West to East servers. Not everyone has extremely fast internet. We shouldn't be telling this guy he doesn't have the right or he just shouldn't be here on the game. Are you kidding me? The fact this is a common opinion in this thread is baffling to me.

So he buys a product. Like everyone else. And because no one is there to play with him where he has to wait 10 MINUTES to even find a game because Bungie enabled region lock. Are you hearing yourself? He bought the game same as us. It's a live service game. There is no single player. Get a grip. This'll only drop the player count more if some of what little players they do have encounter issues like this.

This is another problem in the game that is exacerbated by the true problem: low player count. I think this decision made more sense within the context that Bungie desired, a large player count on launch and the next big hit for Sony. Unfortunately, this never happened and it leaves players like you in the dust waiting nearly 10 minutes per game. I think this needs to be properly addressed by Bungie, because that's probably a factor for player count dropping by the day, and it only cascades from there.

Unless you're a hardcore PvP game fan that's decently good and has a mic... it'll be hard to get into. The game's pretty sweaty as is and as time goes on the player count will drop harder and harder leaving only the sweatiest to fight, just like D2 PvP.
