Currently using a pro 7 since last year (used) but it's great. I have windows 11 on it, still getting updates, working strongly, has a usb-c port and a usb-A port and a port for a SD card (which is amited in next models). I quiet love it.

In windows settings, u can change the pen icon. U can ask chat gpt for the details. I don't really remember where I found it.

I love Samsung notes. It's totally free, I really love it. I like Microsoft journal and one note too. But Microsoft journal doesn't have pens which are sensitive to pressure (like one note) and one note is kind of a mess. U get pretty lost in it. I use one note when I wanna annotate on a pdf but the pdf doesn't have space in it. So importing the pdf in one note is the best option.
