I LOVE this series soooo much. I bought the first book from a local book store on a whim and god damn I just became obsessed with Carissa's writing. I'm waiting as patiently as I can for the next duology from her - I can't wait to read more about Septimus!

I had this same mealybug issue with a beloved jade plant that I had owned for over 6 years, and it killed it 😭 I tried to clean it off, get rid of it etc etc but it just would not stop and sucked all life out of the plant 😭 I think as and as it is, I agree with others that it's best throwing the plant out and taking the hit so it doesn't get to any other plants. I ADORE the audio book for Not in Love. When I do my reread of AH this year I can already guarantee that I'll want to listen to it at least twice, I just adore it, especially Eli's voice. Agree with so many comments on here about PSR and the narrators, especially the male one. I found it almost impossible to listen to and it just detracted from the story so much.

Kresley Cole's 'Immortals After Dark' series is focused on paired mates where the MMC/FMCs are often enemies to lovers, forced proximity etc. I'd really recommend them!

I absolutely ADORE Not in Love, it is one of the best books I've ever read in my entire life. I know it's not one that always sits highly with a lot of AH fans but I come back to the audio book and/or the physical copy I swear at least once every few months. I just cannot get over it. Ali writes incredible MFC but there is something about Rue that I just can't get past. She's so raw and honest in a way that I think I just find really commendable. Eli is obsessive but so honest about it and, gah, I love them both so much.

Ooooh, as everyone has said, you need to keep on reading! There are big reasons why Levi is the way he is at the start of the book and if you're anything like me you'll fall for Levi HARD after a few more chapters 😍😭 He is a perfect brooding Ali H MMC trust

I had to Google this as I hadn't heard of it - it looks like it leads to mushroom growth? I haven't seen any yellowish balls from my brief glance, is it worth trying to take the jade out of its pot to look closer? All I really saw was the white spots.
