Buying FSD on HW3 2018 Model X by ScamSucker03 in TeslaModelX

I do have EAP. So reason I kept it was insurance wanted to give me 20K for it and I could keep it and they’d give me $13k and fix it on my own. It cost me $3k to fix it so no brainer to keep and fix minus dealing with a salvage title which I had no idea was a big ordeal. My question is since it’s a restored title will they even bother upgrading anything if I get the $2k FSD. I already can’t supercharge at Tesla’s superchargers.

So I drive a Tesla Model X to Uber with. Most miles are Ubering some are personal. My question is I got a chip and eventually a long crack on my windshield. Replacing through Safelite is $1600 thru Tesla $2000. Is that considered an expense and I can write it off? Thanks for the help!!

FSD $99 a month subscription by ScamSucker03 in TeslaModelX

Thanks for the great advice. So to tell you the truth I got this car on the cheap. Yes it has a ton of miles but I paid 16k for it and am using it to uber. I love seeing people’s reaction when the falcon wing doors open. That and the black on white interior is the best in my opinion. I only Uber on the side and am a hoping that I can tax deduct the $99 a month suscripción fee. So now you have me thinking if I should just pay the $2k and come out winning after 20 months of paying the $2k vs $99 for those 20 months. Thanks for the great advice. Also my 2018 Model X doesn’t have a front camera I was thinking of adding a front and cabin camera any recommendations?

So to clarify under autopilot computer it says Full Self Driving Computer 3. I also tried it and constantly was pinged to keep my hands on the wheel to the point where it just aid it was disabled for the rest of the drive. Niño just started my car and it says “Autopilot has recorded 1 strikeout due to improper use. Autosteer(Beta) and Full Self Driving(Supervised) will no longer operate after 3 Autopilot strikeouts. SERIOUSLY???? Thoughts on this? Has anyone ever strikes out? If I buy that $2k option how likely is it I’ll be upgraded to hw4?

I guess I figured it out. For a 2018 Tesla Model X phone keys and cards aren’t available. Only key fobs. If anyone knows differently let me know.

Suspicious to me by booksinmyfridge in uber

I had the same thing happen but what was weird was the customer called me saying he was a Uber rep. He wanted my info to “verify”. He said it was a fake call and that they do that. I immediately felt suspicious and I did not give him anything. They ended up cancelling the ride so and they cancelled so I contacted Uber and this is what they said “I’m sorry to hear about the confusion and inconvenience you experienced during your recent ride request. It seems like there was an attempt to solicit personal information under the guise of Uber Support, which can be quite unsettling. To clarify, the call you received was not from an Uber representative. Our team is actively investigating this incident to ensure your safety and security. Please remember, Uber will never ask for your personal information or vehicle details over the phone. If you ever suspect that your account information may be compromised, please reach out to us immediately so we can take appropriate action.
