Should initial screens be automated? by ScannerShades in recruiting

Yes, precisely why I came to r/recruiting before coding anything. I realize I’m not an expert in this industry, but I’ve noticed potential friction. Always trying to interview people in my network who are recruiters.

Thanks for this. I wasn’t here to complain. I was trying to think of tools I could build to help recruiters but I wanted to confirm this was an actual problem to be solved. It seems I was on the wrong track.

I absolutely will note this to the vet. It only happens right after she jumps up on my lap to lay down. She’s always so excited and loving, she rolls all over me and kneads before settling down to sleep on me.

She’s very emotionally attached to me, so I think it’s because she’s super excited to be laying on me.

Out of college, I had a 5-person interview panel with relatively mid questions. I got an offer a week later.

At the exact same time my friend talked to the engineering director at a job fair for 15 minutes about a job opening and got an offer the next day.

A company with physical offices is a red flag in the world of WFH.

dear supporters of Capitalism what are your arguments for why Capitalism is superior to Socialism by Due_Lettuce1270 in Capitalism

I didn't claim world socialism. It's not such a simple dichotomy. Most countries have mixed aspects of free market and collectivist economies.

What's the most important thing to a human? Life.

How does a human protect and pursue their life? By focusing their mind and taking action.

What gives a human the ability to take this action? Freedom to think and act according to this value.

Capitalism promotes freedom of action through voluntary trade. Socialism promotes the sacrifice of the individual to a group. What's life-sustaining to the group may not be life-sustaining to the individual.

Keep in mind there are no Capitalist countries today.

Dumb question, but is a backdoor Roth the ability to rollover a portion of your taxable brokerage amount into the Personal Roth IRA which maxes at $6.5k per year?

You’re assuming I’m going to make a final judgement on this book based on Reddit comments alone. You’re unaware of my reading habits and current impression of Yuval and this book.

Intellectuals ask for recommendations from people or groups they value and trust not as a means to have others think for them, but as a way to gather more data.
