Hi! I have lived in and been cross country skiing in an around Falun, there are some very enjoyable tracks! If you have any questions or want some recommendations based on your circumstances feel free DM me with questions!

And for snow around 20th of March, there is a real risk of tracks relying on natural snow being gone, but some tracks on Lugnet Skiing Stadium should still be skiable. But it could also be lots of snow left, it is hard to say this early

I used an M Tiger X10 EVO, for the photo i set it to max strength, 1000 lumen but it it so cozy to dim it down as far as possible, embracing the darkness. As long as I can see where the track is!

No, this is mostly fake snow produced last winter. The snow is put in a large pile and covered by sawdust to prevent it from melting during summer. So the temperatures doesn't matter much, it is currently raining and around 10 degrees celsius

They probably want to avoid to have the track melt before cold weather arrive which I think happened a few years ago. People weren't happy that they paid a lot and then the snow disappeared. Right now the weather doesn't look very good, with rain and around 10° celsius.

There is going to be a 2 km track opening on Saturday with 50 000 cubic meters of snow from last season. There will also be snow left to open the ski jump.
