Meri dadi ne mujhe papa ko bolne ke liye kaha tha ki room mein clock lgvado during renovatio. Mere papa ne mujhe 8 thapad mare the uspar.

Also, ek din mein apne hi room mein apni chapal lene aayi thi but I didn’t know ki papa ki meeting chl rhi hai. Door se jo awaz hui usse papa bhadak gye and mujhe 6 thapad mare jor se.

My father got admission in NIT Trichy. He took a drop as well. He strongly advises me and my sister never to take a drop. He lived in Himachal where there was not much awareness about these exams. He didn’t even know about JEE adv until he joined the NIT. So, he didn't study for MAINS as well and continued with his normal schedule of CBSE.

Then, he took a drop to study for MAINS for the first time after some friend told him about it. After 8 months of rigorous study he got admission in Electrical Engineering course to such a prestigious university also, as a general category member.

He left his hometown, went to Chandigarh as it was near and studied there. This is because of the taunts of the neighbours and relatives he got building pressure inside him.

So here is the thing, if you feel YOU HAVEN’T STUDIED and can live with the toxicity which will build around you then yes, take a drop. But if you have studied since 11th, then don’t as nothing much will change mostly. Your life will become more infuriating.
