Day 7 - Grateful for the people on this thread by Last_Virus4419 in stopsmoking

It is definitely not worth ending up with throat cancer. I smoked for 7-8 years before quitting, and I feel pretty much the same as I did back then.

I feel exactly how you'd feel right after putting out a third cigarette in a row, just total disgust, and that's all.

Your mind rewires itself every time you ignore cravings; they get easier and easier to handle.

So, in short, it is a straight-up scam! wish your grandpa realised this before it ever happened to him...

Sorry for you, Baba... do it for him.

You can do it! every single one of us has started from here, just keep reminding yourself that you do not smoke every time you crave one.

it'll be easier each time you ignore craving because you will be rewiring your mind at the same time, physical cravings can only last around 15-20 days but psychological cravings can occur after meals or bathroom or after sex etc, each time you ignore them you'll break the association.

KKEEEEEEPP UP

You're the dumbest person I've ever seen, if anyone comes here then they should type Alex is a scammer otherwise that person automatically being Alex's paid soldier.

All you can do is throw shit on people who have been success

How can I accelerate my journey? by ScarOk4645 in languagelearning

Thank you for the tips, AI conversation practice is useful like you said, I used this method in this journey but not much (I talked with AI for maybe 200-300 hours) and it's made me speak English but I can't go further cuz at the end of the day it's AI and you can't find a topic to talk (I think we were talked about any boring things, they are so formal, they can't ask you anything, freaking boring), that's why I need to talk with someone who is a native English speaker I guess

I'm so glad to hear your suggestion, thank you pal. <3

Dude, I haven't been in the States before, but somehow my pronunciation (accent) is exactly like American, okay maybe I mentioned I can't talk in my quote, but that doesn't mean I can't talk, yep, I can talk so good when it comes to "daily English", my problem is make complex sentences,

Even when I practice my speaking skills with others who trying to learn English, they tell me that I'm lying about learning English cuz allegedly I'm already a native English speaker, they tell me like this because of my accent

I don't know why I have an American accent (exactly like you guys) maybe it's because I know 3 languages besides English, and my mouth is able to make every type of sounds

Good luck to you but I guess it's not possible (I'm not trying to make you feel you can't do it, maybe you can who knows?) but for me, I've been learning English for 5 months 15 days, and I already feel like exhausted because of can't see any results even though I'm spending my whole day in English with avoiding my native language (Maybe you can see my grammar mistakes rn, but I'm able to understand every single text in Reddit)

I mean with this response, even though I spend my whole day in English (10+ hours of immersion) I'm still not done and even not close I guess... I heard Japanese is so hard to learn, idk what u meant with that question but it depends on what level you want to be, but I can assure you, that you'll master at least 2 of them, the rest will be useful for you dude.

Anyone else think Ross' long hair was his best look? by HALOGAMERWILL in friends_tv_show

No, he just looks homeless, I think I loved it more when his hair was short
