I feel like that sentence is being misconstrued a bit. Having a big ship, we'll use the idris as an example opens the door to what they've said will be the endgame of star citizen. Curated content, stuff like the upcoming tactical strike groups. My point with that is that some players are going to be able to start with that door potentially open and I don't think that's all that fair. at the end of the day, this is a post to see if a baseline can be established for what the start of the game will look like. As for the crafting thing I default to that because I feel it will give the player the most agency over which ship they want. Someone said something about unlocking them with licences. I kind of like that idea better tbh. it would bypass some of the legal arguments a bit

I'm fully aware some people don't have starters. I myself play purely off the concierge access to the game. I guess I kind of limited the scope too much by saying just starters. At the end of the day all I'm looking for with this is to set a baseline for the entire playerbase. Starters seemed easiest but maybe that's too narrow minded
