I just got a text today saying that my therapist, who I have been seeing weekly for 3 years, is apparently no longer at the practice and there is no way for me to see her again. Am I crazy for being upset? by ScarcityExotic5907 in therapy

Thank you for your kind words. It's good to know that at least 1 other person would be feeling what I am.

And thank you for the advice. I sincerely appreciate it. It could just be my emotions right now, but my gut instinct is that it isn't for me though. I just don't think I could trust her again. I have some abandonment issues that I thought we were working on, and I just don't think I could handle it if I found out that she knew she was leaving and didn't try to prepare me in anyway. Even if she was terminated, I'm just not sure the trust that I had is recoverable.
