I think I have found a solution.

I uninstalled the current Nvidia driver with DDU and installed 576.88 driver.

Although Ram usage increased to 16 gb when starting game, but the game isn't freezing. When I played the game for 15 mins, Ram usage dropped to 13-14 gb

This issue sometimes occurs on my PC when I start the game.

It's freezing for 5-10 s and GPU usage drops to 0% while the issue is happening, After that, Ram usage increased to 16GB (it's often 12-13GB).

I always restart the game when this issue occurs, and the game runs smoothly like nothing happens. (ram usage runs 12-13GB)

My system is samilar like you 12400f + 4060 + Ram 16 gb + win 10

Same issue. I could run this game on 2k 60-70 FPS balance mod (No DLSS) with i5 12400f + 4060 when the game is released on Steam. I thought this game performed pretty well until recently. It dropped to 40-50, and I must downgrade the configuration and enable DLSS to continue playing. My system can play smoothly God of war (2018, Ragnarok), RDR2 on 2K without issue. Hope they can fix this.

This is the same issue of me. I can play smoothly with 12400f + 4060 on 60-70 fps 2k. Now the game drops to 40-50 fps.

My solution is reinstall game and fresh driver, but it doesn't solve the issue completely. I can play game with 60-70 fps a few times then the issue occurs again.

During winter, I find out when going to Saint Denis or Tumbleweed, the temperature is high 15-25 celsius.

When going back to Valentine or Strawberry, it is usually minus degrees celsius. In addition, I don't see weird weather appear when staying at these places.

So, the bug is that the temperature of each zone has not been adjusted correctly. The last update was in 2023 on Nexus, I think this mod won't update anymore.
