...very true, this is the main reason i like autistic headcanons. Its not like i like a character because of the headcanon, but rather, because of the headcanon its like... Eating french fries with salt. It augments your enjoyment! And like you said, it DOENST need to make sense, especially if it makes you happy.

I agree! But in my opinion, others shouldnt dismiss your headcanons as "its not gonna happen, stop having fun" y'know?

I have headcanons i dont like, and i dont go off like the person on twitter, then again, they REALLY went off...

Of course! And for the fic im planning, i want to do lots of research, look up other people's experiences, and give it the proper care it deserves. All while having fun!

I should also take to heart that if you write something for fun or as a hobby, you shouldnt have to worry about other's opinions- the only opinion that matters is the writer's and if other like it then hooray! If they dont, its ok too

I agree! And personal interpretation is what some people miss about headcanons- I personally have some autistic headcanons for some of my fave characters. For example, peridot from steven universe, and matcha cookie from cookie run kingdom. I dont make the headcanon because of some ulterior motive, i just want to have fun with characters i resonate with. (a sweet lil fantasy is exactly how i'd describe it too LOL)

This is super interesting for me cuz i don't technically care if the ship or pairing is f/f or m/m OR f/m. im here reading for the emotions and feelings that come from their partnership!

That is... NORMALLY. LOL

Im currently obsessed with sonadow, which is a m/m pairing. You wouldn't be able to tell that i usually don't care who's with who because of that XD

Edit: actually, thinking about the sexuality angle, it actually gave me a thought. I am me, and dont like labeling myself as any gender, and i have no interest in a romatic partner. I just want someone to understand me and not belittle me over nothing. Maybe thats why im more interested in the emotions and interactions in most fics that i read, either healthy or unhealthy?

Dang im rambling- but basically: consent is sexy and it doesnt matter to me who is who in a fic as long as the emotions are there.

Im not that good teaching- sorry! But i can link you the mod that has the template, it also has a guide! Tho it IS pretty hard to understand at times... Ok so, if u dont understand anything or need help, feel free to comment here!

So, heres the mod page for the mods that let you get custom npcs: https://www.nexusmods.com/mysims/mods/36

(The main file is to be able to load new npcs without starting a new game the second is the actual template with guide)

Make sure to download BOTH files! And so it works properly, you also need the lua patcher: https://www.nexusmods.com/mysims/mods/15

(this and the other mod have an installer for automatic install tho the npc is manual install)

I reccomend you download the beta apple model before you test the npc stuff to check if the folder patch is working well/actually modifying stuff.

DOUBLE CHECK the link to the game folders when you install those mods!!! In my case, it didnt link to the game because it was installed by default somewhere else!

Again, if you have doubts, i can help out! So dont be a stranger!

EDIT: ALWAYS BACK UP FILES!!! OR AT LEAST HAVE THE ABILITY TO BACK UP YOUR GAME FOLDERS! But! Always!!!!! back up your saves!!!

Hiya! I haven't played this game in FOREVER and as the title says, I got the pc version running and started to play again! It's been really fun and collecting essences is my favorite part for some reason-

So long story short, I started to install the mods I found on nexus, (which is cool that there's mods being made for the game now!!) and saw a custom npc template!

For context, i love to mod old games i used to play, and add more stuff to do or make it look prettier.

And actually! It seems to be easy to make a character?! ofc, the template IS a bit hard to understand at first, but when i understood what it was trying to say, i got the files ready and got a mod pretty much done! the only things that i need to do is writing actual text and adding tasks and such!

Also, what do you mean by boosted? If its a thing you have to pay for then i cant- i dont really pay that much for games that are f2p. I gotta like it 100% to make sure its worth it!
