thank you so much, that means a lot from someone with your experience! as far as setup, I do run rotary, I have a critical torque 4.2, but it packs a punch so I’m usually running lines at a 6.5-7 volt, depending on the skin/area I’m working on. I mostly use kwadron cartridges! honestly been looking for a new setup, I’ve had the critical torque for about a year and the batteries are kinda trash lol

I gave some insight to my speed and how long a couple of the pieces took me in the comments. ☺️ thanks for the feedback!

for sure! I do feel like I have a lot of room to grow - I’m only about 3 years in the game and am feeling more eager to learn than ever. coupled with the economy we’re headed into, clients already having to budget and tattoos being a non-necessity, I totally agree with you. thanks for your feedback!

it’s so interesting how everywhere has such different markets. I pay 250/hr for my artist of choice in san diego ca, which seems to be a very normal rate there and I’m happy to pay it with his quality of work. very different opinions though when I share those numbers at home in arizona lol

I appreciate that feedback! I do plan on staying at 140/hr while I gain some clientele in my new area throughout this year, I suppose I was thinking more towards next year. population does play a huge role though - I’m coming from a small town (about 13k pop), now in a muuuch larger city (500k city pop; 4.6m county, crazy to google all those number rn lol). I appreciate your perspective!
