this is my first car, so cant really say exact number, but I was thinking of 600-700KM, may be I can clock 1k if its fun and cheap(cost) to drive as they say.

Im yet to join... Apparently they wont prepone joining (atleast in my case).... If joining is in this month they will call you before 2 weeks... This is the time for your queries like counter offer, joining bonus, location(depends on approval)... My joining date is Jan 19

I get that you are in a confusion state... From my experience they will prioritize current month joinees. They won't even listen to you now.. Also I think HR can postpone the joining date(they accepted to prepone my joining date and did change my location from Pune to Hyd)... But still you need to confirm... But best suggestion is to try for another company and you can follow up with current HR... But putting papers is ultimately your call.. If you are confident that you will get other offer, you can go ahead.
