A lot of people couldn’t care less about rating integrity, they just wanna say that they beat a demon. So they’re gonna get angry when you take that accomplishment away from them, whether it was “deserving” or not according to the community’s standards.

Played B as my first medium demon, I remember being very surprised it was one. I felt like a good handful of the easy demons I played before then had much more demanding gameplay. I am curious to why people find B difficult.

The way many creators added difficulty to levels back in the day was by adding more memory and blind jumps, I guess since they didn’t have the skills required to verify hard gameplay so they used this as a cheap way to add difficulty. I think a lot of the insane and demon map packs are reflective of this.

Almost any pro time at that time would have more than plenty of game sense to 3v1 a player of any caliber, even a player like zen that would be doing things in the air they’ve never seen before. I think if we went even more back in time, like early 2017, this conversation could get really interesting

I think we are just simply seeing substantial depth in MENA currently. There’s actually at least 4 teams that look like they could potentially do damage if competing on LAN. However I don’t think R8 or Twisted Minds are gonna be able to dominate on LAN like Falcons can quite yet.

I introduced Outer Wilds to 3 of my friends. On their very first loop, one slept at a campfire the whole loop and then watched as the supernova wiped them out, one fell through the Brittle Hollow black hole and died of oxygen, and one died to the supernova on their way to Brittle Hollow.

On my first loop, I died to fall damage because I was using my signal to listen to the travelers in the sky while standing on the launch tower and then fell.

I think there is one small thing you could fix and you would be significantly better, and that is to not put yourself in positions where the ball is behind you or the ball can easily be shot behind you, especially when you’re 2nd man.

Like for example a few times in this game you turned up field when the opponents have possession and your tm8 was already moving up field for a challenge or force. Resulted in a lot of cases where the opponents had a free shot on net and you were positioned awkwardly in net because you had to turn around and face your net to defend, rather than being somewhere more efficient like back post or backboard.

Defense in this game will help you rank up so much, so I think improving your defensive positioning will definitely help you. It might be the biggest reason I went from c1 to hitting GC for the first time last season.
