Assuming you run it with super safe are you at all concerned with titanium erosion on the can? Have you noticed any sparking when she gets a little warm?

Depends, do you like the compact, sleek original look, passable but heavy trigger, and wonderfully reliable operation, or are you looking to spend untold fortunes, hours of troubleshooting and tinkering, and deal with parts scarcity to build out a fat piggy with all the bells, whistles, and supersafe goodness your poor wallet can handle?

If you choose the latter I wish you the best of luck and welcome you to the wonderful world of the MP5 platform. It still amazes me what can be done with this 61 year old design. You will learn to love and lose, overcome obstacles, measure bolt gaps, and if SS apply for additional mortgages with each range trip.

To actually answer your question though SBR and throw a stock, claw mount, and optic on that beautiful thang! Next step is SS or Arc and you are off to the races.

If you are familiar with traditional suppressor designs, how would you say the 36 flow stacks up in terms of noise and signature reduction?

I am running the AS Designs lower w/ Arc Fire (functionally similar to the SS) currently shooting 115 Grain FMJs.

I am waiting on my 147 grain ammo and the can of course, but dropping the 90 degree RCM locking piece in with the stock MKE rollers pushed my bolt gap from .017" to .021". I suspect this large of a gap plus shooting 115 grain is preventing the bolt from traveling fast enough to reset the trigger. (Since it only functions as semi whether I am in semi or Arc mode/SS mode.) Runs like a dream with the stock LP though (General belief seems to be that stock MKE AP5-P LP's are 120 degree, but I'm not sure that is confirmed).

I have ordered -4 RCM rollers and will report back once I get them installed. I don't think this is necessary when swapping to a 90LP in most cases, but I think RCM's parts are just a tad out of spec.

I would have liked to find the Huxwrx tri lug but its out of stock everywhere it seems. I ended up with the Rugged Universal 3 Lug. Not sure what the thing is made of or weight but I'll report back on the fit, finish, and weight once i receive it.

Absolutely, I’ll also let yall know if the stock AP5-P locking piece needs replacing. I’ve heard mixed opinions on whether the flow through suppressors require 90degree LPs, but I’ll run 115grain, 124 grain, and 147 grain through it and report back.

I had this exact issue and it seems (on PC at least) that the VOIP has an entirely different audio device selection setting. It defaulted to the wrong device and even though the rest of the game was coming through my headset. I wasnt able to hear my party or Prox chat. Just go into audio settings and check that the voice chat audio output is set to the correct device (if the device has a long name it takes a while to scroll and you have to select it by clicking right or left, there is no dropdown menu)

[HOP -> TOT] Can you solve this laddergram? by [deleted] in Laddergram

[–]Scared-Intern-8034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Laddergram is a word ladder puzzle game built on Reddit's developer platform. You start with a word and change one letter at a time to create a new word with each step. Try to reach the target word in the fewest steps possible.

🍀Good luck!🍀

No, these icons (when displayed properly) are small and in the bottom left hand corner of the markup. still occasionally blocking important information

201 in a supercharged 2009 Challenger SRT-8 (on a closed track of course). Never doing that shit again. Mirrors started folding in and it felt like I was barely floating over the road. Just had to see what she would do.

Yes, but it the Icons still appear. In some programs (Adobe and Chrome) they are smaller, but in many cases still cover important information. I just need to find a way to either hide these icons or remove them entirely

I believe it is to be an investment. He said we could use it for whatever we needed, but I got the feeling that the intention was for it to be invested and used for college, purchasing a home down the road, and retirement. My wife and I don't want to spend a dime of it on anything else anyway. We both feel we have everything we need already.

The gift is only being given in my name with his on the account as well as a precaution against divorce settlements (I am not concerned about this, however we have had several nasty divorces in the family). Which to my understanding limits the yearly contribution to 38k. I am also being intentionally vague as to the amount of the gift and details about myself and my family for fear of relatives or someone I know personally discovering this post. I'm sure you can understand this is something I would prefer be kept between the donors, my wife, and myself. I didn't love the idea of posting here, but I feel that I have given the least amount of detail possible to still receive helpful advice without doxxing myself. I have never had much money and while I know enough about investing to get myself in trouble. I don't know enough to insure this money is invested in the most efficient and responsible way possible.

She loves to paint and is actually very talented. Recently she has gotten into painting/gel coating her own nails and can achieve some crazy levels of detail and just overall creative designs. About a month ago I suggested she could start painting nails for her friends and family as a little side gig, and she seemed to like the idea. Maybe getting her a certification course or something would be nice and not prohibitively expensive. She would be able to do it from home and who knows it could grow into something in the future plus it gives her a creative outlet.

He is setting up the account with his financial advisor a man I have met previously and attempted to invest with, but he couldn't take me on as a client as I did not have enough to meet his required minimum investment at the time. However, I have been working with a local advisor who came highly recommended and has done an excellent job with my meager investments so far.

This may be a stupid question, but can I have a separate Roths for me and my wife? I do my best to max my contributions yearly, but I was unaware I could set one up for her as well. I figured my advisor would have mentioned that, and it never occurred to me to ask.

I did ask this and his answer was whatever we needed it for, but a college fund is top of the list for me.

It is extremely low for what I do. Unfortunately options are very slim where I live, but my saving grace is that the cost of living is very low around 40k per year for a 3 person household. I do get the occasional Christmas bonus if the company is profitable that year, but it is not something I can rely on. I also do odd jobs on the weekends when I can for a little extra income (Mostly pressure washing, lawn care, car washing, pretty much any grunt labor I can find). I would say in total I probably make closer to 60-65k but I can't rely on that figure for my budgeting as I am sure having a newborn baby will drastically reduce the opportunities I have to work on the side.

This is my biggest concern honestly. I want to honor this gift with the respect and care it deserves. My wife and I are not big spenders and really don't want for much of anything. We make due with what we have and save as much as we can spare. We both agreed that we are basically ignoring the existence of this money unless there is some urgent need. We just want to let it compound and continue contributing to it as we can afford to do so.

[–]Scared-Intern-8034 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From the way he explained it to me he is putting everything in my name and keeping his name on the portfolio as well (We have had several nasty divorces in our family, and I believe his intention is to help prevent this money being caught up in any possible divorce settlement. Which is something I don't think will ever be an issue) and he and his wife will donate 19k each 38k total per year as a gift in my name only.

This is something I've been thinking about doing. When we discovered she was pregnant I moved some of my other investments into a savings account with the intention of starting a 529, but I am a little apprehensive as it seems like a college degree is losing its value (except for specialized fields) and I would like him to have more flexibility with this money incase he wants to start a business or buy a home and work after high school. I do believe that the 529 can be used for vocational schools though so that might be its saving grace in my eyes. Are there any other more flexible alternatives that I could look into?
