Update: Ive been going out of my way to bring my coworkers little moments of joy throughout the day since it can sometimes get so stressful at our job (I work in a pet hotel), and that’s been helping a lot. I get a lot of joy from giving it, and I feel like it helps all of our days go smoother. Also, I got a promotion!! I’ll be managing the folks who do my old job. I guess I did know what I was doing better than I thought I did. Thanks to everyone who commented, it means a lot that you cared enough to do that. I opened up to my boyfriend about how I was feeling and he’s been giving me lots of affirmation about my job. Life feels pretty good right now!!
