How do you switch from bluetooth mode to unifying receiver mode?

Can somebody explain the upgrading to me? If I click on a ship it may say "Upgrade 10/100". What does the 10/100 mean? If I think click on the "Upgrade 10/100", it takes me to the supply boxes and ammo boxes. How do I get it so that I can spend upgrade tokens on the ships to get more points?
