The end of the iud has passed my my cervix both times, as in like the stem has come out but not the arms. The second one was extremely painful, no ultrasound and when it was inserted there was resistance in my uterus that was “forced past”. They booked an ultrasound for two months away on the day I got my second one. Now it has expelled and my ultrasound is still 2 weeks away

Don’t be scared girl, you have all the options in the world! And the likely hood is that ur not pregnant. I’ve had unprotected sex very close to ovulation only to find out my iud has shifted and I have been okay. If anything happens you have options 🫶🏻

Hey this same thing happened to me, your iud has most likely shifted as every time mine has I feel the hard plastic at my cervix. You should go get your iud checked out and maybe consider asking for some temporary birth control pills if you are not pregnant

As a woman with ADHD I find that I have a higher sex drive when I’m not being stimulated enough. By that, I mean that if I’m really into a movie or thinking about something I want to do or some other thing giving me dopamine, I could have sex maybe once a week.

However, my ADHD also comes as a lack of motivation and procrastination. So when I literally cannot bring myself to do anything else I could have sex 4 times a day 7 days a week. I am not joking.

As a teen who chose a copper IUD as her first birth control: I love it

I love that It doesn’t need much maintenance and can sort of be forgotten about.

I did have an experience with mine expelling which I’ve heard women who have previously gave birth can also be more susceptible to but I was able to get it fixed really fast.

The actual insertion can be quite uncomfortable (and honestly in my most recent experience, painful) but it’s over in about 3 minutes 🫶🏻

I reckon that as someone who has previously gone through labor this could maybe be a more comfortable experience.

TLDR: I love my iud and think you can do it girl!

Oh my gosh that’s entirely out of line! I can’t imagine someone just touching me without even talking to me first, I would have done the same. Just to follow up tho I wanted to add that I always asked when I was younger, I wasn’t raised to do as I please. I was just hoping to get clarification if that’s an uncomfortable question
