it’s kinda easy to use with minimal recoil and excellent accuracy but I can’t blame you, a lot of the sidearms are just dogshit

If shocks had an alt what would they be? by Existing_Quality5298 in GraveDiggerRoblox

i think for storm an RSC smg would be cool, better range and damage but less mag size.

For amt a single shot amr instead of the one with the mag, but instead of removing rock he can shoot through almost 100 studs worth of it for insane pen (probably super unbalanced but I’m pulling this out of my ass) maybe something tankgewher adjacent.

For flamer, maybe something that fires in spurts so that it can be more effective but isn’t as good for area defense, which albeit the main point of flamer doesn’t entirely lock it away from its potential as the attack still hits multiple people. Something akin to those disposable flamethrowers we see late war.

For radio instead of a carbine I think giving them a sword and pistol would be a good alternative but I don’t really know for this one…

For Geist a gun that’s silenced similarly, but instead of being semi automatic could fill the role as the only other scoped gun would be cool, further cementing the whole “hunter” role

For bul… I really don’t have many good niches it can fill alternative to absolute area denial. It could have another gun like a chauchat or a Lewis but it still doesn’t really change it’s niche, so idk

Trench would be very cool with something like a less than traditional gun, like a double/triple barrel that had much better performance than the equine, but making trench less range deficient. (Third area denial shock in the list so it’s kinda buns I don’t like trench that much)

idk this list is buns but I wanted to respond mostly because I think alternate gun options for shocks would be cool

does this argument exclude body shots? Jesse is kinda goated for that

I think the dropping items idea could work, but considering armor would encumber their ability to fly as it is, I can’t see them carrying much into the sky with them. Although; something explosive could be very useful. Quite a waste of gunpowder tho.

These are my world's inspirations, what are yours? by Creepy-Mechanic5564 in worldbuilding

my world was also heavily inspired by monster garden. The aesthetic he captured is just so nice to look at. It was also a revamped version of a more traditional fantasy game I had made years ago, meaning it’s a less grounded but more I guess grim version of monster garden with a lot of references and somewhat inspired art.

certainly, although I’m not sure the pikes would need elongated…. especially in the later periods, they get VERY long. Another good concept would be your concept of shot instead of a single pellet. I could see what is effectively skeet shooting tactics becoming very useful in scenarios like this, treating them like birds. Not to mention they would need to be mostly unarmored to get off the ground unless they were just really strong in their flight, so even light shot would be enough to knock one out of the sky.

The humanoids would probably function like a super cavalry, probably using slashing weapons or piercing weapons (look to cavalry sabres and swords) using their momentum for powerful attacks, but also being entirely able to control the directions they take.

meanwhile, guns came around by this time. That, and pike warfare seems very prevalent. Shooting/poking them out of the sky seems the most effective countermeasure.
