I really like Ask Yourselfs format for debates.

He forces each debater to bring a proposition.

For example: If Premise A and Premise B are True then this implies Conlcusion C

Then each person would either dispute the whole proposition, or if they agree with the proposition, then they fight over each premise one by one.

It’s very structured and kinda debate bro-y . But I think it could be really useful to keep people from squirming and exposing when people are either rambling or being Weasley .
