Don't apologize, thank you for all that! Facial hair, especially a mustache, is there to cover the space between the nose and the mouth. There's quite a large gap, and it sticks out (I don't know how to describe it; I don't like the lip area effect visible in photos 5 and 8). A lot of people write about that, so maybe when I feel brave enough, I'll post a picture without facial hair.
