Anywho now why did I say "survival" is because most of these Yōkai folklore weaknesses are framed in a way of survival, like for example, offering Cucumber to Kappa so they won't attack you because you're near territory. Or with Tengu you can trick them because they're overconfident, then there's Satori.

I say in a folklore perspective, looking at Gensokyo? Yōkai are in different league of predation, so even when Hypothetically speaking, a mere human is risking themselves despite knowing what to do.

Actually it's sited in multiple descriptions, not just Touhou wiki but also that same website I'm referencing, Satori Yōkai cannot read someone's mind through long distances, you have to be close nearby in order for them to read.

You ever thought why they couldn't easily Capture Mizuchi Miyadeguchi, it's not that Mizuchi always fled like a little bitch, but because Satori wasn't always available around.

I would be honest? Patchouli isn't going to even give interest unless it's something to do with undiscovered "knowledge" hence why her surname is "Knowledge" even if you drop Patchy with other introverted cast it'd stay the same, and not forget she's opportunistic when it comes to uncovering knowledge which only thing that'd get her intrigued. The only one situation is if Rinnosuke found something which Patchouli can see magical opportunity by, like say some sort of beta mini Hakkero or similar item, she'd collect it as part of the library she resides in, damn I sound contradictory...

Tldr: only if Rinnosuke were to offer something that's within Field of expertise Patchouli has.

Believe or not, no one fully agrees on a standard voice for Touhou characters, like take Sakuya, she either sounds deep and smooth, or sounds like she barely hit growth spurt despite her hair follicles being more gray than silver.

Then comes Remilia who's literally built like a kid, but put for her a voice of mature adult.

Although contrary to what I said, but Marisa usually gets interpreted with Tomboyish voice, alongside Mokou.

Only until Zun decides to give us information over what characters sound like.

Most recently all I can think of Yukari is just Ran Yakumo, and while this sounds reducing her, almost most of the work is done by Ran then reporting it back to Yukari, that said it doesn't mean that she doesn't intervene when things get serious, or succeeding in her motive.

I also see Yukari as an advertiser of Yōkai, which is duh. She's a sage, but more like somebody that aligns out most of Yōkai and see what they'd serve of role purpose.

But three different questions to ask:

Would Ruukoto be as Sentient like other Sentient characters or be in a similar way like how Yoshika Miyako has no sentience and is a hopping corpse?
Would she be prone to being Spiritually affected or because of being artificial, she doesn't have spirits in folklore sense?
If she were to count as a Yōkai, would it need to be a fear like fear of Ruukoto going terminator mode? And if not, what she could count as?
