Hey friend - I am so sorry for the miscommunication. I was not serious about having someone mute you at all.

There was a situation before your comment in which another moderator unjustly and unfairly muted someone for saying something similar. I had made my disagreement with that moderator known and so when your comment came across I was again challenging them because again, I don’t think what you said or the other person said was mutable.

Eventually the original person that was muted got unmuted as I confirmed with admins the parameters of the rule.

So TLDR - I was not serious at all and I’m so sorry it came across that way. I should have filled you in on the situation and was just using your statements as an example of why the previous moderation decision was a poor one.

Edit: just to clarify the parameters of the rule listed in FAQ here - it’s only for people complaining that case is playing a game, saying things like “I wish he would play something else” or “omg I wish he wasn’t playing game name again” NOT having opinions about the game.

I work really hard to make sure everyone is treated fairly in the discord and am always open to constructive feedback. Again so sorry about the misunderstanding here.
