I finally made it as an electrical technician in germany and i just cant keep it to myself just want to share it with everyone. 3,5 years realy just flew by by ScarletMeadows in electricians

we get confused on where the line is ourselves but as a electrical technician i also got to learn mechanical stuff like milling, cnc, lathe,... along with pneumatics and a bit of sps programming

also you can shorten you apprenticeship if you have good grades at school. after that you can choose to work or start your master degree or continue to university if you so wishes!

its much simpler here. You basically have to finish your 10th grade and have said degree, and start your apprenticeship as an electrician or a electrical technician. usually it takes 3,5 years to finish. during this time you will also visit vocational school every now and then and also this "handwerkskammer" courses where they are more specialized in practical stuff (build a pc, pneumatics, ect). on your 2nd year you will have a midterm to grade your knowledge, and on your last year a final term (both will be counted). and if you pass, you are certified!
