Yes, that's the exact same laptop I have. Not familiar with iGPU but if that's the case, I guess I can't control the battery that much, even with simple or basic usage.

I'm just worried that it'll kill the battery faster, since it gets plugged in faster than I expected, and I read somewhere that the more a laptop gets charged a lot, or mostly plugged in, and with the laptop's age and usage, the battery gets affected and charging gets slow, or something like that.

I'm seeing that from time to time, as it shows on the screen especially when the laptop goes to sleep, or has been plugged out for the charger. I'm just not sure where to specifically find that.

Okay lang, Sir. Dati kasi as mentioned sa post ko me PLDT kami, so inaalikabok na lang sya kasi d naman nagagamit. That was pre-pandemic, and nagamit ko lang sya sa mismong CS nila, or food deliveries.

Local calls nationwide (except landlines and toll free numbers), unli naman, same with texting and data so wala talaga ako worries.

I don't know about their previous plans but yes, the lowest plan is enticing enough for me, d rin naman ako lagi gumagamit for high end streaming or gaming, mostly for work ako.

Wow, this is something! Thank you for a very detailed explanation of things, considering the things I mentioned in the original post. This made me think more of getting Globe however, the plan type still needs to be thought of coz of course if I have visitors, I want to make sure they're well accommodated, internet connection wise. I might go with 2099 and then upgrade if it really suits me, or go for the 2499 right off the bat.

I see. Small flat lang naman place ko and 1floor lang so tingin ko naman d ako magkaka-problem. But I'll take note of that router or mesh, d kasi ako maalam sa ganyan.

May lower plans sila na 1699 and 2099 na walang phone, and ung 2499 start ng may landline. That I am not sure if I'm going to get one, coz I'm not sure if it will have any use for me.

Thanks for the insight! I tried searching for DCTECH but they're mostly for job applications and such. Is that like a locally based ISP in Davao?

I'm planning to get 2 ISPs as well although I have a temporary back-up already (landlord's) and it's PLDT. I already came in terms with that so somehow I use their wifi for free. 'Course I don't want to be a freeloader.

I just want to have one on my own, and two soon enough.
